Bruce and Kate’s Deck

LM Steyer Construction Services recently had the pleasure of completing this deck project. Construction included the demolition and off site removal of the existing deck and patio. From there we regraded the yard and excavated for our concrete foundation piers. Once our piers were placed, we then installed river rock with a Belgium block border to provide for a low maintenance option under the deck footprint. We then framed our deck to ensure a seamless transition from the house finished floor to our deck finished floor surface. Railings were then built along with a bluestone capped concrete slab landing. We then assembled and installed a lightweight aluminum gazebo that was anchored to the deck structure. To finish the project off we hauled in fresh topsoil, spread evenly, and planted grass seed to provide for a clean finish.
